Elämän värit-iltapäivä innosti taiteilemaan ja juttelemaan elämästä
7.10.2023 sateinen ja syksyinen päivä. 8 espiniläistä ei kuitenkaan tiennyt siitä mitään, sillä tunnelma Lippulaivan kirjaston Paja-työpatilassa oli lämmin. Oli Elämäni värit-iltapäivä, maalattiin ja juteltiin. Tavoitteena oli tankata arjen arjen voimavaroja itse tehden, saaden hyvinvointia elämän väreistä.
Elämäni värit-iltapäivä pohjautui taideterapeuttisiin meneteltelmiin, vaikka ei varsinaisesti mitään terapia ollutkaan. Taidetaitoja ei tarvittu, jokainen oli hyvä just sellaisena mitä oli. Tehtävät inspiroivat, herättivät tunteita ja keskusteluttivat. Tekeminen ja juttelu ovatkin lopputulosta tärkeämpiä.
Mitä tehtiin
Aloitimme yhteisen hetken lempeästi tutustumalla korttien avulla. Jokainen valitsi kortin, jonka väri miellytti, oli lempiväri tai jotenkin kuvasi päivän tunnelmia. Kukin osallistuja kertoi itsestään kortin kautta - opimme paljon toisistamme, vaikka osa olikin jo tuttuja.
Seuraavassa tehtävässä pohdittiin aluksi turvapaikkaa, tai mielikuvaa paikasta, jossa oli hyvä olla. Toisille turvapaikka saattaa liittyä muistoissa rakkaaseen mökkiin, toisille luonto on tärkeä. Joskus hyvän mielen paikkaa symboloi vain jokin väri - kuten mieliväri aiemmassa tehtävässä. Valinta oli vapaa!
Esittävyydestä ja rimakauhusta irtauduttiin sillä, että aluksi maalattiin silmät kiinni. Se olikin monista jännää! Kun työtä oli tehty jonkin aikaa, sai avata silmät ja viimeistellä työn. Lopputulos oli siis puoliksi yllätys. Kuulimme osallistujien tarinoita omasta turvapaikasta. Jokaiselle oma paikka oli henkilökohtaisesti tärkeä.
Ennen herkullista donitsivälipalan siivittämää taukoa aloitimme sanoilla leikittelyn. Pohdimme esimerkiksi inspiraatiota. Jos sanan kirjoittaa ylös, mitä se itselle merkitsee? Mitä se on omassa arjessa, mitkä asiat tuovat inspiraatiota, mitkä vievät sitä? Mitä sanoja, värejä, tunnelmia tai vaikkapa runoja aiheeseen liittyy? Aiheesta maalaaminen ja kirjoittaminen muistutti arjessa tärkeistä asioista.
Päivän päätteeksi maalasimme klassisen musiikin tahtiin tunnelmia musiikista ja päivästä. Juttelimme, niin kuin joka tehtävän välissä. Tuli oivalluksia ja huomioita. Juteltiin myös siitä, että mikään työ ei mene koskaan pilalle. Tässä työskentelyssä tekeminen on enemmän ajattelun ja juttelun apuväline. Joskus töistä tulee sellaisia, että ne haluaa säilyttää, mutta aina ei ole tarvetta.
Taideterapeuttiset menetelmät inspiroivat ja tuovat hyvää mieltä. Toisaalta niiden parissa on hyvä huomata, että nousevat tunteet voivat olla monenlaisia. Joskus ärsyttää ihan kamalasti tai tulee vaikkapa surumielinen olo. Tunteet ovat luonnollisia, ja ne kertovat, että joku asia on tosi tärkeä. Taidetyöskentely auttaa käsittelemään esiin tulevia tunteita.
Ohjaaja Marika esitteli omaa maalaustekniikkasa, jossa taustana oli lähes aina joku väritunnelma - aihe oli sitten maalattu tai piirretty siihen päälle. Toimiva ratkaisu! Väritunnelmista saa myös hienoja kortteja. Ja onhan se niinkin, ettei kaikkea tarvitse aina hyödyntää. Joskus on vain mukava tehdä ja se on tärkeää.
Lopuksi
Elämäni värit -iltapäivä oli tykätty ja moni kyselikin jatkoa. Jotain voisi kevätpuolella olla tulossa - pysykää siis kuulolla! Elämäni värit-tilaisuuden ohjaajana toimi kuvataiteen opettaja ja valmentaja Marika Taskinen. Marika opiskelee nyt taideterapeutiksi.
